Air Splint Kit
|
This "Quick Air Kit" was a pneumatic splint kit that was widely found on board the ambulances of the 60's. It consisted one-(1) half-arm splint, one-(1) half-leg splint, one-(1) full arm splint, one-(1) full leg splint, one-(1) ankle splint and one-(1) wrist splint. To inflate the splint, the user would need to open the valve, fully inflate the splint, and then make sure the valve was fully closed before removing their mouth. Sometimes these splints would be used to hold a pressure dressing in place.
