This is a 1974 "Care-O-Van" type III ambulance which was built on a Dodge chassis by the Wayne Corporation of Blythville, Arkansas. It featured a split side door that opened to a 48" access as well as 61" of patient compartment headroom and 88" x 52" floor dimensions in the rear. It followed the great success of the 1973 Dodge Medicruiser.
